Since my hospital had been awarded as baby friendly hospital,so all the staffs are compulsary to attend baby friendly course included me..which held 3 days ago..basically its all about breast!hehhehe so..no bottles are allowed in the hospital.. kire haramla. so these are wat i have been learned:
1) the nurse have to put the baby on the breast within 1 hour after deliver to stimulate sucking coz time ni reflex dia byk n kolustrum byk. -but i dun think so i can make it coz still in pain!
2) exclusively breastfeed the baby up to 6 months x leh campur dgn air masak!coz air masak will flush away all the antibodies n zat2 dari susu ibu..thats y bb easily get diaorhea..
3) jgn kasi bb botol susu coz he may get nipple confusion n won't want to suck ur breast anymore..coz puting susu botol lagi senang nak isap compared mom's breast coz bb need to suck n pump the milk from the breast
4) have to know the correct positioning of breastfeed-ni sbbnya bb x nak netek if wrong position!
5) all breasts produce milk!x kire kecik or besar!the only thing people say xada susula,or x cukup susula coz the mentality is negative so the hormon won't produce the milk!
6) inverted nipple @ puting yg x timbul pun leh netek coz the baby suck the aerola (yg bahagian itam) not the nipple!huhuh baru cek tau..coz the milk ade kat area aerola ni
7) kalau breast bengkak, kena perah susu n simpan kt freezer..leh bawak gi nursery..mase kat nursery give cup feeding or spoon feeding-but it takes a lot of kesabaran!kalau leh jgn kasi puting botol lagi..to prevent tooth decay.
so i passed the exams with flying colours n really insist to breastfeed my bb with the support from family coz breastfeed is tiring!
the last session ended with video shown of normal deliver without sound!-coz takot!hehhe n now i am traumatized!expecially the incision kt vagina yg selamba nurse gunting tuh! uwaaaaaa no escape!
