Bangkok trip #Day1

hye all...last friday we went to bangkok.actually the plan was so random n i bought hotel ticket through group on which is only rm288 for 4D3N.so i bought MAS flight ticket through online 1 month earlier which is RM1400 for 2 persons 2way.so we departed last friday at 9am n arrived at Suvarhnabumi airport at 11am. on air i ate nasi lemak .as soon as we arrived there we bought prepaid simcard n activate thai line which is only 299baht where u can can make calls n roaming internet 24hrs for 1week!isn't cheap?its about rm29.90.FYI there's no halal food at the airport.the food court on 1st floor have muslim thai food which is just passed through the counter.but it seems not like one.so i skipped to eat it there.oh there is muslim prayer room at 3rd floor n the surau they have bangkok prayer timetable.on the other note,at the airport's toilet there is no bidet.but most of the malls have bidet.then from airport we take railway link train to stesen phaya thai.BTS skytrain is like our putra lrt which is very convenient n reachable everywhere u wanna go.from airport to phaya thai station is 45bhat (4.50) for 1/2 hour.

From phaya thai take bts on nut to go to our hotel which is about half an hour.the fare is 40baht.We stayed at Imm Fusion Sukumvit.it's just 5mins walk to BTS n tesco.so easy.for travellers like us,we bought one day pass ticket which is 120b = rm12.isn't cheap?

so we took shower n ready to explore the world!we took bts to stesen National Stadium to go to MBK Centre.so we had lunch at YANA RESTAURANT at 5th level which is just opposite the foodcourt.

so i ordered plain rice n fried fish with herbs.while hubby ordered mee phaya thai.our drinks teh o ice n ice coffe.total 450baht which is quite expensive.but who cares coz it's halal food!lol

so we lingering around MBK plaza.the mall is similar or more or less like sungai wang plaza where tourist can buy cheap clothes.

so on that friday night we decided to go to Mad dame Tussuad where all the famous artist n celebrities made from wax.before we went there i bought ticket online which is 600bht for 1 person.if buy at cou nter the price is 800bht.so once we bought the ticket it's valid for 1 month n no need to print out.just show the reference number at our mobile phone.

so at 8pm we walked around the MBK area where there's lot streetmarket.at 10pm we headed back to hotel with empty stomach coz halal food is very few n they almost close at that time :((

HOLLLAAA people!!it has been ages since last i updated this blog! so how was ur raya celebrations?happy enufff??for me u can tell it from these pics!hehe

 after solat raya,sesi bersalaman..mia was the first one break the ice! eheh

 finally 3 of us had the oppurtunity to take our pic at neighbour's house.huhu

 jom beraya!the 1st n 2nd day was raya marathon which is we went to about 4-7 houses along the road!huh this is raya kampung style! where we can just terjah n masuk uma depa like a bawse yo!

 hubby showed to us daun ketum which is normally used for drug addicts to avoid them from being so addictive for few days.actually this plant is illegal to plant! huhu but u know this is kedah kampung style! heeee

 so that nite they made it as a drink which is plain n bitter according to them-lar.i dare not to try!yuksss :P

 oh behind the kampung got bendang also known as sawah padi.so these are my anak buah.hehe

 feeling2 ala hindustan...

 2nd syawal raya marathon again till late nite.

 on 5th raya i decided to go to penang coz since i am on leave today..so as soon as we arrived here we went to Queensbay mall.

actually the plan was to ride ferry to let mia experience it.hehe the queue to get into ferry was long but the ride was about 15mins only.

 then we headed  to eat line clear nasi kandaq which is the owner is hubby's ex classmate.the speciality here are kari kepala ikan,ayam goreng n udang galah bapak besooo! puas hati mkn!the place situated in a narrow road between shop houses.the taste still the same past 10yrs ago!

so the special price for this udang galah n kari ikan is rm10 only!tqqqqqq

Ramadhan 2013

what's up world? im still alive alhamdulillah..juggling with fasting,n mia's mood swing past few days!anyway so far i never miss my sahur yet.but for sure i always been late to go to office coz i used to sleep after sahur.so basically every morning is like chaos with mia's drama as soon as she woke up from sleep.huhu for break fast we just buy food at bazaar n cook only one dish for sahur..it's just typical of us to eat only one lauk with rice plus 3 mugs of tea.hehe the reason i drink 3 mugs of tea coz it used to be the sahur tradition since i was small at my hometown.my parents said drink a lot of water more important than eat food (coz obviously we were damn too lazy to wake up for sahur!) hehe

oh in other note...patients getting increased in this month of ramadhan especially during lunch hour!n im superrr damnn sleepy at that peak hour! so my working mood now going to drain coz i've been thinking to work on my own!or to get another job or to get another job placement..hurmm on top of that i feel like mummy coz we cant hold phone during working hours!that means i cannot chit chat with my mom that often..huaaaa oh btw u all must be wondering where is mia right now since i can switch on this pc without her,heheh i sent her off to have sleepover with her grandparents n aunts.huhu

btw...this year we celebrate hari raya in kedah which is hubby's kampung.huaaa sounds seem so far n traffic jam!harharhar okla..wish u all happy fasting..20days more to go!!! gulppp :)

Smartphone geek

in this century,people are using smart phone as one of the most top priority in the life's list.no kidding.its neither accessory nor necessary stuff.so basically u can see all folks of life has these phone or any technology gadgets.from toddlers to old people..including the foreigner workers eg:bangla,Nepalese n indon.so this phenomenon has its bad side coz u may tweet while driving,u may checking ur wassap while walking which more often than not u tend to knock down other people.the obvious part is u DON'T LISTEN when people talking to u coz browsing sites or playing online games are more fun than having conversations with ur parents.this is what we call RESPECT.yeah we have to respect other people when talking to u.huhu

so...can u imagine a day without ur handphone?to make it worst no handphone during office hours?that means 6 days in a week,4 weeks in a month n of course for the rest of the year lah.this is what my company had made announcement where all staffs are not allowed to hold/use handphone during working hours!so every morning we have to give hp to our boss n they keep in a locker!this is because our company dealing with patients,so it's not professional checking ur handphone while attending patients at the counter.huh due to one staff had caught red handed they decided to  punish the rest of innocent staffs!huh. to make it the story more tragic yesterday my boss didn't return the handphone during lunch hour coz he went out at 12.30pm which about half an hour to have lunch break n he got back at 3pm!duhhhhhhhh so this is so so damn sad coz we are like school kids!so who said being as working adult can be so much fun?i don't think so.its just plain stupid.

so now i have to think positive n look at the bright side even though the boss browsing facebook in his room using ipad!duhh so double standard!

my birthday!

hye guys...u all must be wondering how i get so much time to spend in front of  this pc?well....due to haze,the ministry decided to close school until further notice.so that means holiday for mia!yeyyy n i sent her to nanny's house.

actually this entry about my birthday last week.

 that surprised feeling when ur child wished u happy bday for the first time! eheh

nothing fancy dinner that nite just wanted to eat something lite n crappy-diet :)

lessons from mia

fuuhh...finally it has been a week of tears n dramas coz mia doesn't like to stay at nursery.she said the nursery looks old n not colourful compared other nursery.huh kids nowadays can complain n compare.but she likes to go to school. for this whole one week i have  learned that  i must always be creative in every way.example creative while playing with
her..creatively create creative activities! this make me insane n burst my head coz she sometimes complain the activities are all the same.huh wat do u expect a 4yrs toddler to do? its like the rest of any toddlers do! grrr on top of that i have to give reasonable reasons for all her query n doubts! huh she can come out with good reasoning if my answer is not make sense to her.fuuhh oh not forgotten she wont eat if i cook untasty food.hurmm i also cannot be moody,feel tired n making bored faces coz this can make her down n she will keep asking me y i make those faces infront of her.that means i have to be all the time energetic,lively everyday especially when woke up from sleep on monday morning! hehe oh btw the best thing is mia is my full time motivator!

pssttt im updating this blog in the office using hp coz i dun have time to sit infront of the computer!!

Happy 9th

Oh WOW!Alhamdullilah...i don't believe tomorrow 5th June gonna be our 9th wedding anniversary..For me,real love is not based on romance,candle light dinner,walks along the beach or watching the sunsets together.But it is more than that coz falling in love is easy but staying in love requires hard work.According to research there are stages in marriage life..The 1st 5 yrs is like heaven on earth coz everything seems flawless n perfect.the next 5yrs is more challenging coz the spouse have different needs and get easily angry or unsatisfied if the needs not fulfill.That's y according to statistics divorce cases are high at this time frame.At this stage,I believe love is not about holding hands while u understand each other but it's about having MANY misunderstandings and not leaving each other hands.In my opinion,marriage is like an empty box.U must put something in before u can take it out.There's no love in marriage.Love is in people and people put love in marriage.There's no romance in marriage coz u have to put in to ur marriage box.If u take out more than put in,the box will be empty.Having said that,that's y when ur dating/couple all the loves in the air coz ur at that stage of giving the love~~

But somehow it is easier said than done..so the best n successful marriage is when living in Allah's obedience.am i right??
